How we developed Oosh!

Science is learning at an exponential rate about an extraordinary number of things in our lifetime. And this is no different in the world of eye care. Doctors are seeing changes in our eye health with the increased usage of computers and personal electronic devices. Throughout the pandemic eye doctors world wide noticed a sharp increase in eyelid issues and changes in tear film health. Oosh! was created because an award winning eye doctor sat down with a team of experts to discuss what she was observing and what she thought could be done to best support her patients. She wanted a more natural approach to address chronic eye conditions and she felt there was a growing need to support the daily maintenance of the eye. As doctors understand things better, and preventative care becomes more critical as we live longer, she felt we needed a more comprehensive approach to eye care that included a daily cleansing routine. And so was born Oosh! and the creation of The Broosh™ and the Classic Honey Cleanser. Using medical grade silicone with bristles as soft as those used for baby’s cradle cap, this award winning eye doctor designed an eyelid brush that could reach the corner of the eyes while also gently cleaning dead skin cells off the eyelid, and dried tears off lashes.
